That’s EXACTLY how I became a fan too! I got recommended on YT an acoustic version of Paparazzi back in 2009 and I’d heard the song but was skeptical (I was a cynical person in their late teens thinking she was “just” another blonde pop star..basically I was close minded) and thought “how is this possibly going to translate on the piano?”. Next thing I know, I’m hours deep into her radio, festival, and talk show performances and just utterly captivated. She’s been one of my favourite artists ever since.

It was her stripped down version of Edge of Glory on the Stern Show many years ago that made me realize that she is a fantastic singer.
She just took us to the OPERA! Thats the beauty of this woman's versatility with her vocals. She is a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH! Whichever music teacher told her she couldn't make it in pop, she sure did and took us into multiple stratosphere with those pipes she was gifted with.
