| Lot on the line now, with Chii going on the date now if Taiki wins after all. Not like he knew though, but he still gave it his all and took the dub home, and also taking that date home. Which, btw, might I add, Kyou is such a goat man. Dude is single handedly carrying his boy to the dub. Meanwhile, this dude over here complaining over why he didn't set it a month from now. Man if you don't give yo boy the biggest Airgatou first for even setting all of this up, smh. But yeah, they get to the date, or outing ig, itself, and dude Taiki just starts asking the fishes questions on what to do of all people... c'mon man LOL. On a side note though, god the entire aquarium date looked gorgeous. And yeah, while for now this is nothing more than an "outing", soon enough it'll be more... hopefully. Poor guy though, dude got home mate zoned... LMAOOOOO. Yeah though, it's been all fun and games, but it's time to start getting ready for the upcoming nationals. The rest of the episode being about best girl Hina was great to see. But ofc, it was gonna happen eventually, but she did indeed figure out that she lives in the same house as Taiki.... onto what she'll do now though... |

| Something tells me the pink haired girl is in for a nasty crash, and something also tells me she knows it very well herself too, but keeps soldiering on anyway ... you hold on there girl :(. But hey, at least the main guy is winning in life, true, he lost but won, just like Niki Lauda xD, that whole aquarium segment was a masterclass in show don't tell storytelling. |

| As worldshattering that reveal looks to Hina, it's kinda funny how both Chinatsu and Taiki are too innocent for anything seeing them living together might imply. Kyo probably knows better to do this but it'd be wild if he ever played wingman for both Taiki and Hina at the same time down the line |

| Oh my God man Chinatsuās aquarium fit has me in a CHOKEHOLD sheās beyond gorgeous, hoops, hard worker, exudes class, sheās damn near perfect I totally understand why Taiki down so bad for her lmao. Such a cute start to the episode. Itās extremely adorable that all this time Chinatsuās been thinking about that one passing comment she made to Taiki about him having more time to get to nationals. Sheās such a genuinely thoughtful and caring person. I think seeing the girl he likes dressed up so pretty and enjoying herself at the aquarium was more than enough to make him feel better. Also respect to Kyo for not lying or covering it up and letting Taiki know he was to thank for that date even happening lol. W best friend. Like I said, It hurts because in ANY other series Hina would be best girl but she just happens to be competing against Chinatsu whoās a hooper with Mamba mentality. Very rough last 5-6 minutes or so. It was clear ever since Taiki went on the date that Hina was a little off, even if she didnāt know herself. She tried to give him a little boost with Chinatsu by talking about how cool he is, but she donāt realise she basically ended up explaining all the reasons she likes him and Chinatsu could tell lol. It didnāt even dawn on me until I saw Chinatsu open the house gate that Hina didnāt know they lived together yet. Iām thinking āaw how sweet sheās giving the phone backā š ended up being one of the saddest moments this week. This is gonna be the start of a long road to recovery and acceptance for her. Kinda worried this could mess her rhythm competition up |

| Calling it now Kyou's gonna fall for Hina if not he already has. I found some minor implications of that this episode. Surprised though at how quickly Hina found out about them living together I wasn't expecting that to happen so soon. |
| So, Taiki won that match but still ended up in second place overall. That's still really impressive. Especially for a first-year. I really love how Hina teases Taiki... Which also depresses me how she's slowly finding out that she's into him when he likes another girl... Thanks to Kyou, Taiki could go on a date or an "outing" with Chinatsu! I mean, the dude can't complain too much. He would've gotten nothing if his wingman didn't cover his back. So he's lucky. But too bad he got housemate-zoned by Chinatsu lmfao. So, the jig is up? Wasn't expecting Hina to find something so "incriminating" this early in the series... I wonder how she's going to take this... Taiki should've told her about this sooner, huh? This was another crazy anime cliffhanger. There sure were a lot of them this week. Can't wait for next week. Waiting just makes the payoff even bigger. |
| Very very wholesome and adorable episode. It was such a great date if you can call it one between Chinatsu and Taiki. So many cute moments. Shout out to Kuno for setting that up. But, aside from that, Hina doesn't want to admit it that she likes Taiki and is kinda jealous of Chinatsu and Taiki getting close to each other and that last scene confirmed it. Also, Kuno can see that coming from a mile away, it seems like. He's very perceptive. I felt kinda bad for her in the end there. A heartbreak moment. Amazing episode, with lots of great animation cuts and great direction-wise. |

| Taiki did really well in winning that match which guaranteed his day out with Chinatsu at the aquarium, but he should still be proud of finishing in second overall. Considering that he's a first year high school student, that's still impressive. The aquarium visit itself was relaxing and fun, where Chinatsu was able to voice out her apology to Taiki for what she said about him in the previous episode. She was unaware that he did listen to her conversation with his mother, by either way, Taiki was fine with it and his way of the phone sticker to have her use it to talk to him if needed was one way for the two of them to get closer. Hina continues to make me smile with how she acts, especially when she gets smug. Still, I wasn't expecting her to find out about Chinatsu living with Taiki's family so soon. This will definitely leave her feeling very confused and conflicted. It will be interesting to see how she'll interact with either of them next time, although I can't blame her if she feels a bit awkward. |
| Looks like Hina is jelly, but it seems like she doesn't understand whether she's in love with Taiki or not. I hate love triangles in romance anime, but I guess it can't be helped. Here's hoping there won't be too much drama. She's too sweet. It'd be a pain to watch her suffer. Taiki going on a date with Chinatsu but pretending it's not a date. Usual MC problems. That ending though. Misunderstandings, here we go! |
| Thanks to Kyou's help; and Taiki's victory, he finally got his date (although I would have liked to see more of Taiki's encounter). The date between Chinatsu and Taiki was sweet; they had some good moments. Even if Chinatsu's feelings for Taiki are unclear, they can count on each other when they feel insecure. Is it just me or does it seem like Kyou has feelings for Hina, given how he looks at her? Speaking of Hina, she's starting to have feelings for Taiki. Her words deny it, but her expressions say otherwise. And finding out that Chinatsu and Taiki live together must have shaken his heart a bit. Is there a love triangle brewing? |

| Aquarium Date was the actual beeās knees, I thought I might end up with 30 screenshots before it was over lol. Chinatsu babeād up really is a different vibe, I usually see her as a cool but cute basket ball girl but now sheās got it all, Taiki you won bro. And the date itself was so sweet too, some great moments in there, and it all capped off with Chinatsu apologizing for something she said a while back which I didnāt see coming, I had honestly kinda forgot about it lol. And this is all thanks to Taikiās boy Kyou, he coulda kept it a secret but he went and exposed himself later, but this really just makes him even more of a bro than he already was, I hope this isnāt the last time we see him looking out for our boy. And there was also the stuff with Hina, and itās funny, I was just thinking in this episode that maybe Hina isnāt a love rival, but then she went and basically spelled it out for us lol, itās cute but also hurts because I know sheās in for a bad time when she realizes her own feelings, and the saddest part is I think that may have just happened at the end when she discovered the two of them living together, I knew it was coming the moment she went to take Chinatsuās phone to her. Damn harsh cliffhanger to end on, I know sheās probably gonna jump to conclusions too but hopefully things will get cleared up, itās just that wonāt make things that much better lol. |
| Such a nice adaptation. Taiki being the usual herbivore MC. Looks like Chinatsu has her work cut out for her because it's pretty obvious that she likes him. Hina is definitely jealous, though IMO she's the cuter of the two. Chinatsu is too idol-like. |
| Hina follows Chinatsu in the rain to return her phone, but sees Chinatsu walking into Taiki's home. The scene that follows with her expression as the sound of rain pours down was priceless. Amazing episode. |

| Taiki won the game (and actually placed 2nd in the tournament, which is great, but not amazing for a person like Taiki, that always strives for more), and with that won a date to the aquarium. He should be grateful to Kyou for that, true brother. Also, just discovered that Kyou's voice actor is the same as Frieren's Stark, and now I can hear Stark so much in him, but at the same time, it seems like it's another voice actor. Anyways, the whole aquarium scene was wholesome, and reallt cute! And they focused early on the episode on the feelings Hina has for Taiki. When Hina found Chinatsu at the clinic, I think Chinatsu had the wrong idea of Hina and Taiki's relationship, but that's just my impression. Talking about Hina's feeling for Taiki, it seems that Kyou has noticed that already, and I might misinterpreting, but I think Kyou might actually feel something for Hina, either that, or he was really just catching that she has feelings for Taiki. Well, Hina was already getting a bit sad when she saw that Chinatsu had the penguin that seems to be a present from Taiki? And then, the worst happened... SHE DISCOVERED THE SECRET. SHE NOW KNOWS THAT CHINATSU AND TAIKI ARE LIVING TOGETHER. I felt so bad for her, she was really shocked and sad in knowing that, her face at the end was so sad :((( Poor Hina... I wonder if she will keep up supporting Taiki in his possible relationship with Chinatsu. I must say that this anime continues to be wholesome and beautiful, but what takes the cake for this episode was that final scene, when Hina discovered Chinatsu and Taiki's secret, and the soundtrack just stopped, and you could only hear the rain, and you could only see Hina, with the rest of the background being completely blank, just like Hina's mind probably was after that shocking discovery. It was so well done. AHHH, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE, WE NEED IT FOR YESTERDAY! Also, the opening still slaps, it's so good! |
